Nunzio`s Restaurant in Staten Island

One of the top 5 on Staten Island in my opinion. Friendly staff. Just wish they were open a little later and were on some of the apps like seemless.

Strongly fell off. Nowhere as good as used to be. In the area looking for Pizza?....go to LEE'S....this s#!t is a soggy flavorless mess

I have never been disappointed with Nunzios in all the years I've been coming here:.. since 1964. These dinners are some of my fondest memories of growing up on the Island. To this day, whenever I visit SI, I bring home a large cheese pie... or two... or three... for both my freezer and for any friends who have yet to experience a Nunzios slice. Thanks guys.

Pizza at Nunzio's is fresh and tasty and the slices are huge! I enjoyed the thin crust and the plentiful sauce. I also like the fact that they put fresh basil on their pies. If you love thin crust pizza, order a pie in advance for pick-up.

My husband's favorite pizza. We haven't lived in SI in 25 years, but when the subject of pizza comes up, he always says how much he misses this pizza.

Pizza is amazing no doubt about that. Have been going there for over a year now but today sat to dine in and after being given the menus, we were asked to move our seats to accommodate a family that had walked in after us (there was already an open table big enough for them to sit at.) (we didn’t move our seats and promptly left.) It just seemed very unnecessary and came across as rude.

food is still delicious... unfortunately service leaves much to be desired 😔 wish this wasnt the case... I really loved this place

I went there for pizza the other day. When you go in the front door there's just a counter no place to sit. I have had pizza in many different places some really great and some that I wouldn't go back to. The pizza there was a bit too oily and mesy for me. I won't say that I wouldn't eat there again but I rather go to the back where there are tables to sit at. I would also want the pizza more firm. I guess I would have to ask for it that way. One thing that I must also say is that the flavor is tasty.

I used to love Nunzio Pizza. Today 6/26/20 I ordered a cheese pie. Picked it up at 5:40 PM. When I got home and opened the box I found an under cooked pie with all the sauce and cheese all over the place. I was very disappointed.

OMGGGG this place is amazing!!!! From the entrance you think it’s like an upscale pizza place, but it is not ! It’s a very simple pizza place with no indoor seating but standing up while waiting for your pizza is well worth it . If you are someone that loves a New York slice this is the place to go !!!! Crispy thin crust (not burnt ) fresh tomato sauce and some good mozzarella!!! I’m not one to write reviews , but here I am . I live in jersey but I’m paying the 15 dollar toll when I want a good pizza .

What happened to this place I used to go every Friday as a kid amazing pizza my favorite actually,last time I are there 3 young guys working had no clue what was going on we asked them if they could cook the pizza more because it was watery, he gave me some lame excuse like it was too late to heat up, I should have insisted! Because the pizza was cold and raw sub par,what happened to nunzios???

Nunzio's has been on Staten Island since I can remember, im 49.if you want a slice or any of the trimmings. This is the place where you will get a slice that you know is quality pizza. 🇮🇹Enough talking, manja👌

I ordered two pies from there today and one of them was completely burnt. This pizza should have been thrown out and a new one made but that is not what occurred. The few dollars they saved instead of making a new pie cost them my and my companies future business and a bad review. The burnt taste lingered and ended with the top part being scrapped off and eaten instead. Worst pizza ever.

Food was good and reasonable

I have been coming here for 20+ years. The pizza is as GREAT as ever. I will admit, for a while the service was lacking, but lately it has gotten better. The pizza is on the thinner side,but not super thin as Joe and Pat's. The sauce is delicious, but what makes these pies the best is the cheese. I can honestly say, my 9 year old son ONLY eats the cheese here. Every other pizza joint,he picks the cheese off and refuses to eat it. They claim to use PollyO cheese. I believe they do. I read a few reviews about how long it took to get the pies. So I timed them tonight. Saturday night, ordered 2 different pizzas at 645pm. On the table at 658pm. Can't complain about that. I can't really say I get the food much but if you want GREAT pizza,come here.

We ate inside the restaurant and we will never go again. It took 55 minutes for two pies. We asked several times for when the pizza was coming out and the waiting staff was so rude and unaccomodating. They kept blowing us off. Eventually we found out that the kitchen never received our ticket order for our pizza. No apology or anything. We had children with us who were starving. I’ve never waited so long for pizza and we will never go again. Plenty other places nearby to go instead.

Terrible terrible service. We were the only customers on a Saturday at 12pm and it took an hour for 2 pies. They weren’t even cut all the way through. The waitress was rude. Did not give us drinks, silverware napkins. She has a bad attitude. We had to beg for a water refill. Came with two little kids who were very antsy and hungry. Won’t be returning. No apologizes from the staff on our order being delayed for no reason.

Couldn't be more unsatisfied. Waited for half an hour and when I asked the staff about my order, they then noticed that they didn't even start preparing it. I wouldn't make a big deal out of it if at the end the pizza was AT LEAST okay. Definitely not going back. Was my first and last purchase.

Pizza is A1 some of the best even if service is lacking. Got a garlic and oil spaghetti with no garlic or oil. But for pizza alone it's a 5star

I give the waiter credit. there was 8 of us, we were all talking over each other, being loud and probably added things we wanted a few times and he was still able to get everything right. The pizza was good, and I had a chicken parm hero. I'll probably be ordering take out here as well. Recommended.

Amazing clam pie. Pick up window/bar service is awesome. All of the people working the front are super friendly. Ate in the dining area once. Staff was friendly too but service left a little to be desired. Water was not refilled during our meal. No one checked on us until we asked for the bill. We were one of 3 tables at the time. Could’ve just been an off night for them. Great clam pie though! It’s the only thing we’ve had from there so far and they do not disappoint.
